About Us

In 1995 a group of IP lawyers practising in the field of intellectual property formed THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAWYERS’ ORGANISTION (TIPLO).

TIPLO reflects the demand for an open organization for lawyers practising in all fields of intellectual property. The creation of legal rights in the field of intellectual property and their impact on public and economic welfare demands the attention of practitioners. Public interest issues need to be debated objectively by lawyers whose primary task is to enforce and manage these rights.All lawyers having an interest in Intellectual Property are invited to join TIPLO.  

Membership is available both on an individual and on a corporate basis.

TIPLO welcomes the participation of young IP lawyers.

Activities

TIPLO meets four times a year where guest speakers from the world of Intellectual Property Law give talks on varied & compelling aspects of the subject. The evening meeting is accompanied by a fine meal where current topics may be discussed in such surroundings as The House of Lords & Gray's Inn to name two.

Members obtain reduced fees for these events as well as email updates on guest speakers, topics & location.
