PAST TIPLO EVENT:

Jeremy Phillips from IPKat joined Lord Justice Jacob and TIPLO members to provide insight into how social media is influencing the IP news world at Grays Inn.

Such is the draw of a celebrity speaker that TIPLO’s 2nd March event was oversubscribed. The increased attendance numbers also reflects the fact that TIPLO recently expanded its membership.

It welcomed IP professionals from CIPA and ITMA and offered an especially attractive lower rate for younger members and students attending at this event. As a result, a large group of IP practitioners and professionals gathered under the ancient portals of Gray’s Inn for this inaugural meeting of 2011.

The post–dinner address at the March TIPLO meeting was given by Jeremy Phillips of IPKat fame. Jeremy’s name is well known to many thousands as the purring voice of the feline blogger, yet his face may not been so well known. He prowls the IP world domestically and further a-field to bring to the computer screens of a huge number of fans (the writer amongst them) a daily diet of news and views from the IP-o-sphere.
